On Tuesday October 10,2023 Dr. Branko Terzic was interviewed by Ms. Jelena Terzic of Radio & Television of Serbia ( RTS). The interview was taped in the Embassy of Serbia in Washington DC.
The interview topics included Dr. Terzić’s experience growing up and achieving political, professional and business success as an immigrant to the United States. Terzic explained that his hometown of Milwaukee Wisconsin, while he was growing up, was home to two generations of Serb immigrants. The first wave came before World War I from Serbian the frontier provinces of Krajina of Austria-Hungary and the second from Communist occupied Yugoslavia after World War II. He mentioned in passing that the TV comedy “Happy Days” ( written by two Milwaukee natives) was actually representative of Milwaukee in the 1960’s. On the topic of Serbia’s energy future Terzic recommended that Serbia continue to decarbonize electricity generation with the addition of solar, wind and possibly small modular nuclear reactors while also investing in substantial energy efficiency programs in commercial and residential buildings.
